Glebe
farm cottages is a recently converted, Victorian
barn development of five 4 star cottages. They are
set around a landscaped central courtyard with lavenders
and a 100 year old olive tree each with their own
private garden. Glebe farm itself is a 110acre
working arable, beef and lavender farm, 6miles east of
Nottingham centre in the picturesque river Trent valley.
The fields surround the cottages and are abundant with wildlife:
You
may even see a badger at night or one of our resident ,herons, ducks
or kingfishers
The
cottages are ideally suited for visiting close by
Sherwood forest (30minutes),the ancient market towns of
Newark (30minutes), Southwell minster(10minutes) and
Lincoln cathedral(45minutes).Alternatively why not
spend some time enjoying shopping or the sporting
facilities in nearby Nottingham city (15minutes) .The
national water sports centre, Ice stadium and
international cricket and Tennis centre are a few of the
excellent venues close by.
If
you simply want to just relax, enjoy the endless
riverside walks on your doorstep. If you just
want to chill ,soak up the tranquility of the surroundings, the
scent of the Lavender ,and our very own TRENT VALLEY
TOILETRIES and even have a relaxing aromatherapy and
reflexology massage in your cottage by Cathy, your host
and onsite qualified Aroma therapist.
There
are five cottages to choose from, either one, two or
three bed roomed. Four of the cottages have ground floor
bedrooms and shower rooms whilst the fifth has first
floor bedrooms and bathroom. Each one has been
tastefully decorated and furnished. All are equipped to
an extremely high standard with under floor central
heating, modern well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge
diner and own garden and patio furniture.

for business and holiday lets, short and weekend breaks.
